The stock market continues to stay firm as internal momentum is still stronger on the NYSE than on the Nasdaq. Breadth settled with 2736 stocks closing up on the NYSE compared to 1448 that finished down. Options trading was fairly neutral although traders are still buying calls rather than puts as measured by various put/call ratios. Indexes may come back to the 40 days moving average, somewhere 3% below the actual level.
