Bargain hunters are still at work taking advantage of the recent slump in tech stocks to fill their portofolios. Breadth on the NYSE was strong: 3222 stocks advanced compared to 1082 that settled down. We observed the same phenomenon in the options market as traders were piling up on calls. The list of new highs/new lows improved slightly although 172 stocks on the Nasdaq reached new 52 weeks lows.
